Search, filter and sort your guest list
Updated
In short
On the Guests screen, type in the search box to find guests by name, email, notes or meal. Click Filters to narrow the list by seated status, RSVP, group, table, meal, side or quick checks like Children and No RSVP yet. Use the sort menu for Name, RSVP or Table, and By table or By household to group the list.
The bar above your guest list has everything you need to find people: a search box, a Filters button, a sort menu and two view buttons. Filters and search work together, and you can clear them all with Clear.
Search
Type in the search box (it says “Search 120 guests…”, with your own count). It matches a guest’s name, email, notes and meal choice, so searching “vegan” finds everyone having the vegan meal.
Filter
Click Filters. A number on the button shows how many filters are on. Inside you’ll find:
Dropdowns
- Seated: All, Assigned or Unassigned. “Unassigned” is the quickest way to see who still needs a seat.
- RSVP: any one status, such as Attending or Declined.
- Group: a single group, or No group. Appears once you have groups.
- Table: everyone at one table. Appears once you have tables.
- Meal: everyone having one meal. Appears once guests have meals.
- Side: one partner’s side, both sides or other.
Only show
- Children: children and infants.
- VIP
- Has dietary notes
- Accessibility needs: guests with a seating need.
- No RSVP yet: guests marked Invited or Awaiting.
- Missing contact info: guests with no email and no phone.
Inside the panel, Clear filters resets the filters but keeps your search. Clear on the bar resets everything. If nothing matches, you’ll see “No matching guests” with a Clear filters button.
Sort
The sort menu (next to Filters) has three options:
- Name: A to Z. This is the default.
- RSVP: Attending first, then Maybe, Awaiting, Invited and Declined.
- Table: by table name, in number order (Table 2 before Table 10). Unseated guests come last.
View by table or by household
Click By table to group the list under each table, with an Unassigned section at the end. Click By household to group it under each household, with No household at the end. Click the same button again to go back to a plain list. Each button only appears once you have tables or households.

Health check shortcuts
Overview’s health check links straight to the guests it’s talking about, for example “2 declined guests are still seated”. The Guests screen then shows “Showing 2 guests flagged by your health check.” Click Show all to go back to everyone.
