Print a wedding welcome sign
Updated
In short
Choose Welcome sign in Print & Export for a decorative poster reading “Welcome to the wedding of”, followed by your names, your date and your venue. The names and venue come from your wedding details. It opens on portrait A3; pick a poster size for an easel and have it printed at a print shop.
The welcome sign is a single poster for the entrance or the ceremony. It’s made from your wedding details, styled in the theme you choose, and ready to print large.
What it says
- “Welcome to the wedding of” in small capitals.
- Your names in large type, like “Emma & James”.
- A floral sprig in the theme’s colours.
- Your wedding date, if Wedding date is ticked under What to include.
- Your venue or event name underneath, if you’ve added one.
Check your details first
The names, date and venue come from your wedding details. To change them, click your wedding’s name at the top of any screen. This opens Wedding details:
- Partner one and Partner two become the names on the sign. If both are empty, the wedding name is used instead.
- Event name is the line under the date. Use your venue, like “Rosewood Manor”. Leave it empty and the line is left off.
- Event date is the date shown.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the wording on the welcome sign?
The “Welcome to the wedding of” line is fixed. Your names, date and venue line come from Wedding details, so edit them there.
How do I remove the venue line?
Clear the Event name field in Wedding details. The sign leaves that line off when it’s empty.
What size should I print it?
18 × 24 in or 24 × 36 in suits most easels in the US; A2 or A1 elsewhere. Always use Save as PDF for large prints, as it stays sharp at any size.
