Add Find Your Seat to your wedding website
Updated
In short
After you publish your Find Your Seat page, click Copy embed code in the Add it to your wedding website box, then paste it into an HTML or code block on your site. It works on Squarespace, Wix and WordPress. Zola and The Knot don’t allow embeds, so share your link there instead.
If you have a wedding website, guests can look up their table there too. You paste a small piece of code into your site and your Find Your Seat page appears right on it, in your page’s theme.
Add it to your site
- 1
Publish your page first
The embed code appears once your page is live. See publish your guest page. - 2
Copy the code
In QR Code / Seat Finder, open Add it to your wedding website in the Find Your Seat card and click Copy embed code. You’ll see Embed code copied. - 3
Add a code block
In your website builder, open the page where you want it (a “Seating” or “Day of” page works well) and add an HTML, code or embed block. - 4
Paste and publish
Paste the code into the block, save, and publish your site. Open it on your phone to check.
Which websites work
- Squarespace, Wix and WordPress: these all let you paste embed code into a block.
- Zola and The Knot: these block embedded code. Paste your Find Your Seat link onto a page of your site instead. Copy it with the copy button next to your link.
Other website builders usually work if they let you add custom HTML. If yours doesn’t, sharing the link always works.
What the code adds
- Your guest page in a box up to 420 pixels wide and 640 tall, with rounded corners.
- The same cover, name search and sections as your full page, in the same theme.
- A small “Find your seat — powered by Lovely Seating” link under it, unless branding was removed on the Agency plan.
It stays up to date
The embedded box shows your live page, so seating and page changes reach your website automatically. You never need to paste the code again. See changes update live.

Frequently asked questions
Can I embed Find Your Seat on Zola or The Knot?
No. Zola and The Knot block embedded code. Share your Find Your Seat link on those sites instead.
Do I need to update the code when my seating changes?
No. The code shows your live page, so changes appear on your website automatically.
Can I change the size of the box?
Yes, if you’re comfortable editing HTML. The width and height are in the style part of the code. The defaults suit most sites.
The box is blank on my site. What’s wrong?
Check the page is still published, and that your builder allows custom HTML on your plan. Some builders only show embeds on the live site, not in the editor.
