A place card is the small name card set at each guest’s place, showing who sits there — usually with their name and table, sometimes a meal note for plated service.

Cards need a seated guest
A card is generated for every guest assigned to a table. Give someone a table and they’re included; unassigned and declined guests are left out. Names come from your list — start with the wedding guest list template or import your guest list.
Place cards vs escort cards
A place card sits at the guest’s setting; an escort card waits at the entrance to point them to a table. Each card shows the name and the table, so the same set works as escort cards at the entrance — make escort cards from your seating plan, or print an alphabetical seating chart for the entrance instead. Table cards list everyone at a table.

How are the cards laid out for printing?
Two across on a portrait A4 sheet (pre-picked; Letter and other sizes work too), in alphabetical order, with dashed cut guides for trimming. Save the sheet as a PDF or download it as an image.
