What is a wedding table plan?
A wedding table plan (also called a seating plan) sets out which guests sit at which table. It’s what the venue sets up from, the caterer counts meals from, and guests use to find their seat.
In Lovely Seating the table plan isn’t a document you type by hand — it’s generated from your seated plan. Assign guests to tables (exact seats optional), and print it as a by-table list, a numbered table-diagram worksheet, or a to-scale floor-plan chart. Because all three read from the same plan, they never fall out of sync.

Assign exact seats where it matters — the head table, say — and the plan shows the seat number, meal choice and any dietary flag for each place. Everywhere else, a table assignment is enough.
Because meals are recorded per guest, the plan totals them by table and overall — so the caterer gets real counts, not a guess, and allergies never hide behind a menu pick.

They describe the same thing — which guest sits at which table. “Table plan” is the common term in the UK; “seating chart” in the US. Lovely Seating produces both, from one plan.
