Does Zola have a seating chart tool?
Yes. The Zola seating chart works in its iOS app and on desktop (there's no Android app). It's free up to 15 guests — you unlock Premium to add more — and every guest is placed by hand, with no automatic seating. You can export a PDF or Excel file.
Does The Knot have a seating chart tool?
Not one we could confirm as of October 2026. The Knot's help center says a digital seating chart is something it's working on and points couples to printable templates meanwhile. Its free guest list is excellent, though — export it as a CSV and seat it in a dedicated tool.
Which wedding seating chart tools seat guests automatically?

Why look for an alternative to Zola or The Knot for seating?

Zola's works in its iOS app and on desktop but is free only up to 15 guests, and every guest is placed by hand; The Knot's help center says its seating chart builder is still in the works.
