Can the place cards match my seating chart?
Place cards should look like part of your wedding, not a template downloaded at the last minute. Apply the same theme you used for your seating chart and the cards come out coordinated — no separate design work.
Choose from 7 themes: Blush Romance, Sage Greenery, Classic Elegance, Modern Minimal, Coastal Breeze, Golden Champagne and Amethyst Plum. Each card is a stationery-style design — a framed card with a fine hairline border and a small decorative sprig in the theme’s colours. Whichever you pick, the guest name stays the most prominent element and readable — the preview shows you how each name sits on the card, including the long and hyphenated ones.

The whole set, laid out for printing
Once the content and style are right, Lovely Seating arranges the cards onto a print sheet for you — two per row on an A4 sheet by default, in alphabetical order, with dashed cut lines so they’re easy to trim.
Preview the full set first: how many cards and pages, how each name fits, and the cut lines. Then Save as PDF at the chosen paper size. Can I make escort cards too?
Yes. Each card shows the guest’s name and their table, so the same set works as escort cards on a table at the entrance or as place cards at each setting. If you’d rather have one list at the door, export the A–Z guest finder instead, or add a Find Your Seat QR code so guests can look up their table on their phone.
What else can I print to match?
The same plan and theme also make table number cards for the centrepieces (the head table is marked ★ Head Table), table cards that list everyone seated at each table, and a welcome sign poster with your names and date. Example: Olivia & James’s place cards

With their 126 guests seated, Olivia and James choose the same Sage Greenery style as their chart. Only seated guests are turned into cards, so declined and unassigned people are left out automatically.
The preview shows that “Alexandra Thompson” is too long for the card, so they set her display name to “Alex Thompson” and regenerate. When one guest moves from Table 7 to Table 6, they just update the seating plan and export a fresh set — no hunting through a separate design file for that one card.

It’s added for you: when a guest has a meal chosen, it prints as a small line under their table, handy for plated service. Guests without a meal choice get no meal line. Private dietary details aren’t printed.
What size are the cards and how are they laid out?
Cards print two per row, in alphabetical order, with dashed cut lines for trimming. A4 portrait is pre-picked; you can switch to US Letter or another size before saving the PDF. The layout isn’t matched to pre-cut card stock such as Avery templates, so plan to trim the sheets.
Can I print just one changed card?
The card maker generates the full set from your current plan. If one guest changes, update the plan and regenerate the set so everything stays consistent.
Does Lovely Seating print and deliver the cards?
No. Lovely Seating prepares the print-ready file. Printing, cutting, folding and delivery are arranged separately with your printer.
