Lovely Seating began with a simple frustration: deciding who sits where is one of the fiddliest, most stressful parts of planning a wedding — juggling spreadsheets, sticky notes and a diagram that's out of date the moment one RSVP changes.
Our founder, Stefan, kept watching it happen around him. One by one his friends got engaged, and one by one they ended up at the same kitchen table weeks before the wedding: a spreadsheet on the laptop, sticky notes on a printed floor plan, and an argument about where the cousins should sit. Different weddings, the same evening, every time. He wanted one calm place where the guest list, floor plan and final chart live together, so changing a name, an RSVP or a table in one spot keeps everything else in sync.
