The watermarked preview on the free plan

On the Free plan, Print & Export shows a full preview of every export, behind a light diagonal “Lovely Seating” watermark. You can try every theme, size and option. Downloading the PDF, image or CSV needs Pro, a one-time payment. Once you upgrade, the watermark disappears from the preview and every download button unlocks.
On the Free plan you can build your whole plan and see exactly how every export will look. The preview has a faint watermark, and the download buttons are locked until you upgrade to Pro.
What you see on the Free plan
- A Ready to export? card at the top of Print & Export.
- A light “Lovely Seating” watermark repeated across the preview, with a label reading Preview — unlock to remove watermark & export (Preview — unlock to export on a phone).
- A small lock on Download image, Save as PDF and Download CSV. Clicking one opens the upgrade screen.
- A Pro tag next to Show “Made with Lovely Seating” credit. The credit stays on until you upgrade.
The watermark is only on the screen. It’s there so a screenshot can’t stand in for the print-ready file.

- Every export type, every theme and every page size, in full preview.
- All the options under What to include, Chart style and Page.
- The warnings above the preview, like unseated guests or over-full tables.
- Setting up your Find Your Seat page (publishing it needs Pro).
What upgrading unlocks
Pro is $39 one-time, with no subscription. Straight after you upgrade:
- the watermark disappears from the preview
- Save as PDF, Download image and Download CSV work
- you can remove the “Made with Lovely Seating” credit
- you can publish your Find Your Seat page

Working on someone else’s wedding?
Frequently asked questions
Is the watermark printed on my chart after I upgrade?
No. The watermark is only drawn over the on-screen preview on the Free plan, so downloads never have it. The small “Made with Lovely Seating” credit at the bottom is separate, and you can untick it.
Can I export without paying?
You can preview every export for free, but downloading a PDF, image or CSV needs Pro.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
No, but the free preview shows you every export in full before you pay.
I upgraded but the preview is still watermarked. What now?
Refresh the page. If it’s still locked, sign out and back in, then contact support if that doesn’t fix it.
