Export your guest list as a CSV spreadsheet
Updated
In short
Choose CSV spreadsheet in Print & Export and click Download CSV to get your whole guest list as a spreadsheet file. It has one row per guest with name, group, household, RSVP, meal, dietary notes, seating needs, table and seat. It opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Like the other exports, downloading it needs Pro.
The CSV export gives you your full guest list as a spreadsheet, including where everyone is sitting. It’s useful for your caterer, venue or planner, or for doing your own sums.

What’s in the file
There’s one row per guest, sorted A–Z by name, with these columns:
- First name and Last name
- Group and Household
- RSVP: attending, maybe, invited, awaiting or declined
- Meal and Dietary (the dietary note as you typed it)
- Seating needs, such as Wheelchair space, separated by semicolons
- Table and Seat: the table name, plus a seat like “Seat 3” if you chose an exact chair. Both are blank for unseated guests
Unlike the printed exports, the CSV includes everyone, declined and unseated guests too. Filter the RSVP column if you only want attending guests.

Frequently asked questions
Is CSV export free?
No. Downloading the CSV needs Pro, like the other exports.
Does the CSV include table assignments?
Yes. The Table and Seat columns show where each guest is sitting. They’re blank for guests without a table.
Why do accents look strange in Excel?
Some versions of Excel open CSV files with the wrong text encoding. Use Data → From Text/CSV and choose UTF-8, or open the file in Google Sheets.
