Delete your account

Updated

In short

Go to Settings, scroll to Danger zone and click Delete account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account and every wedding on it, and it can't be undone. Download a backup or export anything you want to keep first. On Agency, cancel your subscription before deleting, because deleting doesn't cancel it.

You can delete your account yourself from Settings at any time. It’s permanent: your account and every wedding on it are removed, and we can’t bring them back. Take a minute to save what you need first.

Before you delete

  • Save your work. On Your weddings, use ⋯Download backup for a copy of each wedding’s data. If you have Pro, download your charts from Print & Export too. A backup is a file for your records; it can’t be loaded back into a new account. See download a backup.
  • Cancel Agency first. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an Agency subscription. Go to SettingsPlanManage subscription and cancel there first.
  • Think about collaborators. Anyone you invited to one of your weddings loses access to it, because the wedding is deleted too.

Just want a fresh start?

You don’t need to delete your account. Delete or archive a single wedding from its ⋯ menu on Your weddings instead. See delete a plan or wedding.

Delete your account

  1. 1

    Open Settings

Click your initials in the top corner and choose Settings.
  2. 2

    Scroll to Danger zone

It’s the last card on the page, with a red heading.
  3. 3

    Click Delete account

A window asks Delete your account? and warns: “This permanently deletes your account and every wedding on it. This can’t be undone.”
  4. 4

    Confirm

Click Delete account. You’ll see “Your account was deleted.” and land on the home page.

This can’t be undone

There’s no undo and no recovery window for a deleted account. If you’re not sure, delete individual weddings instead, which you can undo for a short time.

What happens to shared weddings

  • Weddings you own are deleted, including for anyone you invited.
  • Weddings other people own and shared with you aren’t deleted. You simply lose access to them.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get my account back after deleting it?

No. Deleting your account is permanent and removes every wedding on it. Download backups first if you might want the data.

Will deleting my account cancel my Agency subscription?

No. Cancel it first from Settings → Plan → Manage subscription, then delete your account.

I paid for Pro. Will I get a refund if I delete my account?

Deleting your account doesn't trigger a refund. Our terms say refunds are considered case by case where a technical fault stops you using a paid feature. Contact us if that's the case.

Can I sign up again later with the same email?

You can create a new account, but it starts empty on the Free plan. Your old weddings and any Pro purchase don't carry over.
