Design your Find Your Seat guest page

Updated

In short

The Find Your Seat screen is a builder with a live phone preview. It starts filled in from your plan. Pick one of 24 themes, choose whether guests see seat numbers, meals and tablemates, mark the entrance on the map, and add a schedule, menu or venue section. Building and previewing are free.

Your guest page is more than a search box. It’s a small website for the day: a cover, the seat finder, a map, and optional pages for your schedule, menu and venue. You build it in QR Code / Seat Finder, with sections on the left and a phone preview on the right that updates as you type.

It starts filled in from your plan: your names, date, tables and meal options are already there. You can publish it as it is, or work through the sections below.

Theme

Choose from 24 themes in three groups: the same 7 looks as your chart, trending palettes like Dusty Blue, Terracotta Sunset and Burgundy & Blush, and venue looks like Black Tie, Rustic Barn, Vineyard and Beach Sand. The page starts on your chart’s theme, and picking a different one here doesn’t change your chart.

Use Accent to fine-tune the colour to your florals. Every theme is checked for contrast, so text stays readable whatever you pick.

Cover

  • Your names and wedding date come from your plan.
  • Ceremony time and Venue name appear under them.
  • Welcome line (optional) is a short note, like “Cocktails on the terrace after the ceremony”.

There are no photos or monograms on the page. It keeps the focus on finding a seat.

Seat finder

This is what a guest sees after finding their name:

  • Show seat numbers (on): their seat number, for guests you’ve placed on a specific chair.
  • Show their meal (off): their meal, with the same icons as your Meals list.
  • Show tablemates (on): the first names of the others at their table.

Nicknames

Search already knows common nicknames, like Bill for William and Katie for Katherine. If a guest goes by something else, add it under Nicknames: choose the guest, type the name they’ll search for, and add it. Nicknames help guests find themselves but are never shown on the page.

Floor plan map

The map shows your tables and venue objects, never names. When a guest finds their seat, their table glows and a dotted path leads from the entrance. The entrance comes from your floor plan; click the map in the builder to mark a different spot.

Schedule, menu and venue

Each of these is off until you switch it on.

  1. 1

    Schedule

The order of the day, each moment with a time and an icon. Before the wedding, guests see a countdown like “In 12 days”. On the day it says “Happening now” and highlights the next moment.
  2. 2

    Menu

Your courses and dishes, plus a short note under the menu. Meal options from your plan are listed, and a guest who has found their seat sees their own choice highlighted.
  3. 3

    Venue

The venue name and address, with Directions that open in Maps and a Copy address button. Add short notes, like parking or dress code.
  • Link & passcode: once published, the owner can pick a custom link, like /find/ava-and-noah. A passcode is optional and off by default.
  • After the wedding: write the thank-you note guests see once names come down. See when the page comes down.

Free to build, Pro to publish

Anyone can build the page and open a full preview with their own guests. Publishing it, a custom link and sign downloads need Pro.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see the page full screen before publishing?

Yes. Click Open full screen under the phone preview (or Preview on a phone). It uses your own guests, so you can search for anyone.

Does changing the page theme change my seating chart?

No. The page theme is chosen separately. It only starts on your chart’s theme.

Can I add photos or a second language?

Not at the moment. The page has your names, date, welcome line and the sections above.

Do my changes reach the live page?

Yes. With Keep it live on, the published page updates every time your plan saves.
