In short

Go to the sign-up page and choose Continue with Google, or enter your name, email and a password of at least 6 characters, then click Create account. It's free and needs no credit card. A short setup wizard then asks for your wedding details and builds your first floor plan.

You need an account to build a seating plan. It’s free, there’s nothing to install, and you don’t need a credit card. Your plan saves to your account, so you can pick it up on any phone, tablet or computer.

Open the sign-up page
Click Start free at the top of any page on lovelyseating.com. You’ll see Create your account.

Pick Google or email
Click Continue with Google to use your Google account. You won’t need a separate password.
Or fill in Your name, Email and Password. The password needs at least 6 characters.

Click Create account
We sign you in and take you straight to the setup wizard.

Asked to check your email?

If you see Check your email, we’ve sent you a confirmation link. Click it to finish creating your account, then sign in. It can take a minute to arrive, so check your spam folder too.

What happens next

A short wizard sets up your wedding. Each step shows Step 1 of 4, Step 2 of 4 and so on:

Tell us about your wedding: your names, a name for the wedding and the date. The date is required and can’t be in the past, because we use it to time helpful reminders. Not decided yet? Click We haven’t picked a date yet and pick a month; you can change it to the exact day later.
How big is your wedding?: about how many guests, how many per table, and how many tables. This sizes your floor plan. You can change all of it later.
Make it yours: a table shape, whether you want a head table, and a style.
Add your first guests: type a few names to get started.

Click Create my floor plan and you’ll land on the Floor plan screen with your tables already in place. To learn more, read the setup wizard, step by step.

Signing in later

Click Log in and use the same method you signed up with. If you signed up with Google, click Continue with Google again. Once you’re signed in, you’ll land on Your weddings.

Forgot your password?

On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?, enter your email and click Send reset link. To change your password while you’re signed in, go to SettingsPassword.

Planning with your partner?

You don’t need to share a login. Each of you can have your own account, and with Pro the plan owner can invite the other. See invite a collaborator.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Creating an account and building your whole seating plan is free, with no card needed. You only pay if you choose to upgrade.

Is there a free trial of Pro?

No. The Free plan never expires, so you can build your plan first and upgrade later. Pro is a one-time payment of $39.

Can I change the email on my account?

Not from Settings. Your email is shown there but can’t be edited. If you need it changed, contact us.

Is there an app to download?

No. Lovely Seating runs in your web browser on phones, tablets and computers, so there’s nothing to install.
